Effective Monday, March 23, the office of Chicopee Eyecare will only be open by appointment for patients with emergencies. All non-urgent care will be postponed until after the COVID-19 crisis has resolved. If you have a red and/or painful eye or a sudden change in your vision, please call our office at 413-592-7777 and our receptionist or answering service operator will relay your concerns to our on-call optometrist. You should expect a return phone call shortly after.
During this period, eyeglasses that previously ordered can be mailed to you. Contact lenses can be ordered on our website or a contact lens prescription can be mailed or emailed to you within 48 hours. You can also contact our office at info@ChicopeeEyecare.com.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this Coronavirus crisis. We wish you good health and we are available to talk to you if you have any concerns. We check our emails several times a day and that may be the best way to reach us. Be sure to leave a home or cell number so that one of our doctors or staff can reach you.
Our philosophy is to combine the latest in optometric knowledge, the most advanced examination and treatment procedures, and state of the art instrumentation to provide you with the best possible eyecare. However, we don't just treat visual problems and eye diseases, we treat people. Our mission statement, as stated on our waiting room wall, reads as follows:
"The people in this office are committed to providing you with the highest quality of eyecare and to treating you with kindness and respect."
We welcome the opportunity to serve you. Our goal is to insure you a lifetime of healthy eyes and clear and comfortable vision.
